• Mr. Rafanello, Eastern Janitorial, donated 15 cases of hand sanitizer
• Mr. Ediga donated $1,000 to the WTSD College Application Award
• Five district students awarded the 2020-2021 Student Recognition Award
• CHS student selected as a semi-finalist for the National Honor Society Award
• Four JFK students selected as finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Award
• Twenty-two IMS students inducted into the National Junior Honor Society
• JROTC Cadets from WHS received Honor with Distinction (HUD) status
• Nine JFK students received athletic awards for 2020-2021 winter sports

The Woodbridge Township Board of Education announces that the open public budget hearing will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Ross Street School #11, 110 Ross Street, Woodbridge, NJ. The Board may retire to Closed Session to discuss personnel matters. Formal action may be taken. Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 173, there may be capacity limits on the number of people who may attend this Board Meeting in-person in order to maintain social distancing guidelines. As a result, the meeting will be streamed live on Channel 35 and those residents who are unable to attend in-person may e-mail their public comments to superintendent@woodbridge.k12.nj.us until the end of the Meeting.

Families from Woodbridge Township School District's Title I schools recently participated in a virtual STEAM Family Workshop. A committee of teachers created tutorial videos to enable families to participate at their leisure. Photographs and videos were submitted documenting the fun families had doing science experiments, coding, creating artwork, inventing, and working on math projects. • Thirteen 7th graders participated in the Junior Youth in Government Day.
• Eighteen district students selected as winners of the Dr. Martin Luther King Essay Contest.
• Eleven district nurses volunteered to administer vaccines at the Township COVID Clinic.
• Middlesex County Sheriff Officers conducted the DARE program at 8 elementary schools.
• Supplemental books purchased for K-5 small group instruction.
