All schools and offices in Woodbridge Township School District will be closed starting Monday, June 9, 2025, through and including the Primary Election on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
The Woodbridge Township Board of Education will be holding a special meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6:00pm in the gymnasium of Ross Street Elementary School #11, located at 110 Ross Street in Woodbridge. The purpose of this meeting is for the Board to consider filling two expected Board vacancies caused by the resignation of two (2) of its members. Candidates for membership will be expected to speak before the Board for up to five (5) minutes at that meeting. Formal action may be taken.
The Board vacancies were caused by :1) the resignation of one Board Member on May 20, 2025; and 2) the expected resignation of another Board Member, who has announced that his resignation will be effective at the end of the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on June 12, 2025. The Board will announce both the vacancy and the expected vacancy at the June 12, 2025 meeting.
Pursuant to the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:12-15 and Board Bylaw 9113, any member of the public seeking to apply to be considered for either of these two (2) positions must submit: 1) a letter of intent addressed to the Acting President of the Board of Education, or President as the case may be; and 2) their resume in application of the vacancy, on or before Monday, June 16, 2025 at 4:00pm by e-mail to the Business Administrator/Board Secretary, Brian Wolferman at brian.wolferman@woodbridge.k12.nj.us.
All schools & offices in the Woodbridge Township School District will be closed starting Friday, 5/23, through and including, Tuesday, 5/27, for Memorial Day, and extended due to unused inclement weather days. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Wednesday, 5/28.

All schools in Woodbridge Township School District will operate on the scheduled early dismissal plan, Friday, April 18, 2025. Morning Pre-K classes will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m,; Afternoon Pre-K will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m.; Full day Pre-K and Grades K through 5 will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m.; Grades 6 through 8 will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.; and Grades 9 through 12 will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m.
Aftercare will be available to eligible students.
Schools and offices will be closed starting Monday, April, 21, 2025 through and including Friday, April 25, 2025 for Spring Break.
Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Woodbridge Township Families:
As you are well aware, there was a glitch today, March 17, 2025, with our notification system, Thrillshare, and resulted in messages going out to all of our 14,000+ students from some or all of our 24 district schools. As the error was on Thrillshare’s end of the system, our district could have shut down our entire network and the messages and alerts would still have gone out. Our analysts have received confirmation from Thrillshare that the issue with their data processing has been resolved and steps have been taken to provide reassurance that this does not occur again. We have also received confirmation that this was only an issue with attendance notifications; we were not hacked and there was no breach in student information or confidential data.

High schools will begin at 9:40 a.m. Middle schools will begin at 10:15 a.m. Grades K through 5 will begin at 10:55 a.m. The morning Preschool will begin at 10:55 a.m. The afternoon Preschool will begin at 12:55 p.m. As a reminder, all bus pick-ups will be delayed two hours as well.
