*Would you like to give back to your community in a meaningful way? Join the Garden club for National Public Lands day. We will be working on the garden outside the Iselin Library on Saturday, September 27th. Permission slips available in the guidance office. Volunteers are rewarded with snacks and service hours!

Today we celebrate National Hug and High 5 Day.
Students interested in Esports, complete your permission slips no later than tonight. If not enough students apply, we will withdraw from the Fall competitions. Please find the permission slip on the Iselin Middle School website’s staff section, on Mr. McDonough’s Google Site.
Is anyone looking for service hours? The Garden Club is looking for volunteers to help beautify the Iselin Library Garden on Saturday September 27. National Public Lands day is when we take time to care for our outdoor spaces. No experience needed. Grab a permission slip in the Guidance Office today.

Today we celebrate Star Trek Day.
Do you want to show all of New Jersey how good you are at Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Rocket League? Our Esports team will be holding an interest check meeting in room 314 before school on Wednesday, September 10th, at 7:45 AM.
Anyone wishing to order Mums or another fall plant, the deadline to turn in order forms is tomorrow.
Do you enjoy being outside, working with your hands, and making our school a more beautiful place? Then come join the Garden Club!

No experience is needed—just a love for nature and a positive attitude! You’ll help care for flowers, design garden spaces, and make our school bloom with color and creativity.

Here are today’s announcements: Wednesday, 6/18/25 Today is a B Day. Today we celebrate National Go Fishing Day. Tomorrow Woodbridge Township School District recognizes Juneteenth, a day that celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. It marks June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved people in Texas were told they were free—over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021. Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of freedom, equality, and continuing to learn from our history. Students who are singing in the 8th Grade Promotion Choir, there is NO rehearsal on Friday morning when we come back.
