Crews are continuing to work on our schools thru tonight and tomorrow morning. With almost 2 feet of snow in parts of our township, we recognize not all residential and business walkways and sidewalks will be cleared for use. We anticipate certain roads being difficult to navigate as cars were left on the streets when plow trucks came through. If your child is a walker, we encourage parents and guardians to review their route or consider driving them if possible. Bus routes will also likely be impacted so please allow extra time for pick up and drop off.

Did you know that the lifespan of individuals with Down Syndrome has doubled in recent years? Help IMS raise money to support research for Down Syndrome by buying socks for $5 during your lunch period.
In honor of Black History month, we will celebrate with a spirit week! Any students who participate will get entered into a raffle to win a prize. Monday’s spirit day theme is Trailblazers Day. Wear bright neon colors to symbolize the people who stood out and broke barriers!

Down Syndrome is the most common chromosomal condition, occurring in 1 out of every 700 babies born in the United States. Help IMS celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by purchasing a $5 pair of socks to wear on Thursday 3/19. Socks are available in the main office during all lunches.
