Earning placements in their categories and ranking in the top 10% were 8th graders Dev Bhargo, Harsith Saravanarju, Seeyal Jain, Dev Vazirani, Saira Dahodwala, Ishani Chakraborty, and Nishika Chinta.
Also placing in their categories were Bhavika Patil, Rishika Tarte, Chavisse Ross, and Prateek Singh.
In addition, special awards were earned by Prateek Singh, Varunesh Kanagasabapathy, Ishani Chakraborty, and Nishika Chinta.

Juneteenth, recognized on June 19th, celebrates the day when the last enslaved people in the United States learned they were free. "Freedom’s Eve" on January 1, 1863, marked the first Watch Night services where African Americans gathered in anticipation of the Emancipation Proclamation.

Congratulations to the IMS boys' and girls' cross-country teams on an outstanding performance yesterday at the Meet of Champions.
