Congratulations to this year’s winners of the IMS 4 V4 soccer tournament. For a second year in a row, Motivation Nation episode two has won the title. Marmik Luhar, Prakhar Maheshwari, Daniel Tadrous, Charan Godeka and Abhay Shinde narrowly defeated the Panthers in the championship round 1-0. Great job to all teams! Thank you to all participants and everyone that helped out to make this event such a great success. Attention all band students, please don’t forget the first 6th grade full band rehearsal is Monday at 7:20 am. Please be sure to pick up music by the band room before the rehearsal. A huge thank you to all the students who participated in the IMS Honor Society Food Drive. We collected 50 bags of food to help our community. Thank you for your generosity. Attention all band students, a reminder that morning rehearsals will begin next week on Monday for six grade, and next week on Thursday for advance band. All rehearsals begin at 7:20 am. Please be sure to pick up Music located outside of the band room. Study hall will now be available during lunches from Mondays-Thursdays in room 607. You must sign up and bring your lunch. They played an outstanding game falling 10-9 in the bottom of the last inning. 7th grader Dhurti Patel turned a double play earning her the team’s defensive game ball. 7th grader Analise Brown earned the team’s offensive ball by getting 2 hits, including a double and scoring 3 times. 8th graders Jazlin Ortiz and Jaroly Alibrando both had a positive impact for the team. The program is geared to students who are interested in working with a professional in the visual, literary, and performing arts and wants to improve in their chosen art form.
