A huge congratulations to the band and the choir on their performance last night! The concert was AMAZING and you should all be proud! Here are today’s announcements for: Tuesday, December 19, 2023 Today is a B day. Today we celebrate National Hard Candy Day. Speaking of candy, why not take a shot at the Guess How Many? Guesses can be made during all lunch periods for $1. Tonight is the IMS Winter Band/Choir concert. It will take place at JFK High School at 6:30 pm and is free and open to the public. Honor Society Students: Your pretzel fundraiser past due. Please bring in the box of pretzels or money tomorrow morning to Room 117. Choir students will be called down to the stage via announcement at 1:50 for piano rehearsal. Please go to your locker and come down prepared for dismissal. You will be going home directly from rehearsal. Sidekicks will be meeting today in room 516 for period 5 and room 604 for period 6. Students will go straight from period 4 to room 516. It is first come, first serve, so sign up quickly to ensure your spot. Attention to all band students, if you are interested in attending the JFK high school concert this Thursday at 6:30 PM., Please go to the full BAND Google classroom and comment with your grade so we can add you to the guest list. You must bring your school ID with you on the day of the concert to gain free admission. The IMS Honor Society volunteered at the Hillside Food Pantry on Friday. They packaged and boxed over 6,000 bags of pasta. Thank you for volunteering and helping many families in need. There will be a Mock Trial Club meeting afterschool on Thursday December 7th afterschool in room 122. There is a Space Club meeting after school tomorrow December 5th in room 506.
