As we close out September and begin October, there is plenty happening at Woodbridge High School. This week includes the WHS Talent Show, college visits, student activities, athletics, senior information, fundraisers, and several opportunities for students to get involved.

Our seniors recently came together to celebrate one of the first traditions of their final year at WHS — Senior Sunrise.

Mu Alpha Theta – Math Honor Society
Mu Alpha Theta, WHS's Math Honor Society, is accepting applications for new members for the 2026–2027 school year.
Applications are due Monday, October 5.

Join El Dorado, the WHS literary and art magazine, and become part of a Woodbridge High School tradition with more than 80 years of history.

Senior Information
Senior Parking Permits Now Available
Attention seniors! Senior parking permits are now available.
Seniors may stop by Ms. Sacco's room to pick up their parking permit.
Cost: $10 – Cash Only
Senior Prom Committee Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser
The Senior Prom Committee is kicking off a Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser in partnership with Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck, NJ.
Pies are $25 each and are available in four varieties:
Apple
Cherry
Pecan
Pumpkin
All pies will be delivered during the week of Thanksgiving.
Orders and cash payments are due by Thursday, October 29.
To place an order, students and families can email Mr. Peter Morrison or Ms. Jen Wauters, or contact a Senior Prom Committee member.

College Representatives Visiting WHS
College representatives will continue visiting Woodbridge High School to meet with interested students.
Juniors and seniors who would like to meet with a representative must sign up through their Naviance account under Colleges → Visits.

Girls Soccer Apparel Shop
The WHS Girls Soccer Team apparel shop is open!
The shop features a variety of Girls Soccer gear, including T-shirts, joggers, sweatshirts, quarter-zips, and more.
Orders ship within a few days and are expected to arrive directly to your door within approximately 4–5 business days. Please note that shipping costs may be higher than some traditional team stores.

Important School Reminders
Arrival & Dismissal
Thank you to our students and families for continuing to help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient.
With more than 1,500 students arriving at and leaving WHS each day, families are encouraged to arrive early whenever possible, particularly before traffic increases around 7:45 AM.
Please continue to observe BUS ONLY and CAR LANE designations, use designated parking areas for student pickup, and keep all fire lanes clear.
Students arriving after 7:50 AM are considered late.
Cell Phones & Electronic Devices
Cell phones and other personal electronic devices are prohibited during the school day.
Students should silence and secure their phones upon entering the building and keep them stored and out of sight throughout the day. Smartwatches, headphones, earbuds, and other personal electronic devices should also remain stored.
Parents and guardians who need to contact their child during school hours should contact the school through the Main Office.
Attendance
When a student will be absent or late, a parent or guardian should contact the WHS Attendance Line before 7:30 AM.

All students, regardless of age, must be signed out by a parent or guardian when leaving school before dismissal.
