As we approach the final weeks of the school year, Woodbridge High School has a busy schedule filled with student activities, senior events, planning meetings for next year, and important reminders regarding graduation and final exams. Please review the information below and stay connected with our Barron community.


Kickoff to Summer Spirit Week

Student Council will host its annual Kickoff to Summer Spirit Week from June 8–12.

Monday, June 8

Hawaiian Shirt Day

Say "Aloha" to summer by wearing your favorite Hawaiian shirt.

Tuesday, June 9

Party in the USA

Wear red, white, and blue or your favorite BBQ attire.

Wednesday, June 10

Jersey Shore Day

Break out your summer-themed outfits and Jersey Shore-inspired attire.

Thursday, June 11

White Out

Wear white or light-colored clothing to stay cool and show your school spirit.

Friday, June 12

Barrons Gear Day

Wear your favorite Woodbridge gear and help celebrate the Class of 2026.

Students are encouraged to participate throughout the week.


Student Activities & Clubs

Drama Club Spring Showcase

The WHS Drama Club will present its Spring Showcase of scenes.

Wednesday, June 10

6:30 PM

Avenel Performing Arts Center

A $10 suggested cash donation will be accepted at the door.

Join us for an evening of entertaining performances featuring both comedic and dramatic scenes.


Tomorrow's Teachers Meeting

Attention students planning to take Tomorrow's Teachers next year.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all future teacher cadets.

Thursday, June 11

Important information regarding course expectations and summer assignments will be discussed. Passes will be distributed through first-block teachers.

Stomp and Shake Cheer Meeting

Students interested in participating in Stomp and Shake Cheer next year are invited to attend an informational meeting.

Academic Information

AP Summer Assignments

Students enrolled in AP courses for the 2026–2027 school year should review summer assignment information as soon as possible.

Cross Country Information

Students interested in running Cross Country this fall should stop by Room D2 in the morning to pick up:

  • Informational packets

  • Google Classroom codes

  • Summer workout information

Yearbook Information

WHS Yearbooks are still available for purchase while supplies last.

  • Cost: $110

  • Cash or money order only

Students may purchase yearbooks from Mr. Rotella:

  • D2 during Block 1

  • D6 during Block 2

Locker Cleanout Schedule

Locker cleanout will take place during Homeroom on the following dates:

Time:

7:50 AM – 8:05 AM

Announcements will be made from the Main Office.

Following locker cleanout, students will follow the regular daily schedule.


Graduation Information – Class of 2026

Graduation for the Class of 2026 will take place on:

Nicholas A. Priscoe Stadium (weather permitting)

Important Dates

  • June 16–17: Final Exams

  • June 18: Make-Up Exams, Graduation Practice, Cap & Gown Distribution, Chromebook Return

  • June 22: Graduation Practice and Senior Picnic

  • June 23: Graduation Ceremony

Graduation Practice

Attendance at both graduation practices is mandatory.

Students must report to homerooms at 7:50 AM. Caps, gowns, graduation materials, and weather contingency tickets will be distributed on June 18.

Graduation Reminders

  • No tickets are required if graduation is held outdoors.

  • Each graduate will receive two red tickets in case the ceremony moves indoors.

  • The district's No-Bag Policy will be enforced.

  • Security screenings will be conducted at all entrances.

  • Carpooling is encouraged.

  • Flip-flops and stiletto heels are not permitted.

Final exams will be administered on:

  • Block 1 Final Exam

  • Block 2 Final Exam

Wednesday, June 17

  • Block 3 Final Exam

  • Block 4 Final Exam

Thursday, June 18

  • Make-Up Exams

All exam days will follow an early dismissal schedule. Students should arrive on time, bring fully charged Chromebooks, and review exam schedules carefully.
