WHS Weekly Update

March 16-22

Woodbridge High School has several important events, meetings, and testing dates coming up for students in the coming weeks. Students are encouraged to stay informed and participate in the many opportunities available throughout the Barron community.

NJGPA Testing for Juniors

All Woodbridge High School juniors will take the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA-A) from March 17–19. Passing this assessment is a New Jersey graduation requirement and measures what students know and can do in English Language Arts and Mathematics based on the state’s learning standards.

Testing Schedule

  • March 17 – Writing

  • March 18 – Reading

  • March 19 – Math

Students are encouraged to complete the official online NJGPA practice tests ahead of time to become familiar with the testing platform, tools, and question formats they will encounter on test day.

To access the practice tests:

  1. Visit the New Jersey Assessments Portal and click Practice Tests.

  2. Select Continue as Guest and Guest Session.

  3. Choose High School as the grade level.

  4. Begin practicing in English Language Arts or Mathematics.

Students should arrive on testing days with a fully charged Chromebook and be prepared to do their best.
