Today is an A Day.
Today is National Grandma Moses Day.
There will be a baseball interest meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45 in the gym. 6th, 7th and 8th graders interested in playing baseball this fall can attend the meeting. Please have your parents drop you off outside the gym doors.
Do you like to sing? There will be a general interest meeting for Choir tomorrow morning at 7:30 am in the Art room. All students who wish to participate in choir this year, or who want to learn more about how choir works at IMS, should attend.
Are you friendly, love welcoming others, and demonstrate good character? The Guidance Department is looking for you to join the Ambassadors. As an Ambassador you will be asked to help welcome new students to Iselin Middle School.
To join, please complete an application found on each grade level’s Google Classroom.
Do you like to dance? There will be a dance company interest meeting Tuesday morning at 7:45AM on the stage. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders interested in learning and performing can attend this meeting.
There will be an Esports meeting on the team Discord after school today at 3:30 PM. More information can be found on Mr. McDonough’s staff website.

*Today is a B Day and we will run a normal day
*Today is National Read a Book Day.

*There will be a softball interest meeting today 9/6 after school in the cafeteria. All 6th, 7th and 8th graders interested in playing this fall should attend the meeting. If you take the bus please stop by to get information before making your bus or be sure to have a ride

*Welcome to the first day of school of the 2023-2024 school year. I am Mr. Tamashausky, your friendly music teacher, and I will be reading your announcements. Please listen carefully every day as there will be important information about what’s going on at IMS. You will also hear a fun or silly holiday for each day and a quote of the day. The daily announcements will also be posted on the IMS google site in case you missed anything.

The end of the school year is quickly approaching! The following schedule will be in place for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year: 6/14 - 6/21 is early dismissal for all schools. All schools will be closed on 6/19.
EARLY DISMISSAL: Grades K-5 @ 1:10 pm; Grades 6-8 @ 12:45 pm; Grades 9-12 @ 12:10 pm
SCHOOL MEAL APPLICATION DEADLINE
If your child(ren) are not signed up for free or reduced price school meals, you will have until 6/23/23 to submit an application to your school or to verify your information on file to be eligible for Summer 2023. Click here https://5il.co/1vn2w
EARLY DISMISSAL: ONLY Elementary & Middle Schools will follow the early dismissal plan on Tuesday, March 14. Grades 6 thru 8 will be dismissed at 12:45 pm; Grades K thru 5 will be dismissed at 1:10 pm; Pre K morning classes will be dismissed at 11:30 am; and, the Pre K pm classes will be held from 10:30 am - 1:10 pm
All schools will follow the early dismissal plan for Monday, March 6. Grades 9-12 will be dismissed at 12:10 pm; Grades 6-8 will be dismissed at 12:45 pm; Grades K-5 will be dismissed at 1:10 pm; PreK am classes dismissed at 11:30 am; PreK pm classes held from 10:30 am - 1:10 pm.
