Dear Claremont Avenue Parents and Guardians, I hope this finds you well. All Woodbridge Township Schools will be closed beginning Friday, May 28, 2021 and will reopen Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Our schools are used as polling locations for the Primary Election; therefore, for safety reasons, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, will be remote, synchronous instruction for all students. Group D - When school reopens on Wednesday, continue to complete the Daily Health Attestation Form and send your child to school with a water bottle and multiple masks. Dear Claremont Families, I hope you are safe and well. Due to the updates in classroom social distancing guidelines, Claremont Avenue School will begin FIVE DAYS of in person instruction beginning Monday, April 12, 2021. Students presently in Groups A and B will be combined into one group and attend school five days each week. • The Daily Health Attestation Form must be submitted in Genesis each morning by 8:15am. Failure to complete the Daily Health Attestation three times by 8:15am will result in your child’s reassignment to Group C, 100% remote. • All travel quarantine guidelines must be followed. If you are traveling during Spring Break, notify your child's classroom teacher and Ms. Dono. Please contact Ms. Dono with any questions regarding travel quarantine at (732)596-4155 or email janet.karanevich@woodbridge.k12.nj.us. •Opening and dismissal procedures and school hours will remain the same. Students who have been in Group C, 100% Remote, will remain in Group C. Dear Claremont Parents and Guardians, We are excited to be starting Week 2 of Phase 2 hybrid instruction. See below: Technology is live, synchronous instruction Physical Education will be in the All Purpose Room or outside when possible. Please send your child to school with a jacket. The Daily Health Attestation must be completed in your Genesis Parent Portal by 8:15am on the days your child reports to school. Any student who reports to school three times without a submitted Daily Health Attestation Form may be reassigned to 100% remote. Please send your child to school with a water bottle and multiple masks. All social distancing and mask wearing guidelines are expected to be followed on school grounds. On Monday, April 12, 2021, the schedule will change so that each group alternates three days of in person instruction every other week. Week 1 Group A – In person instruction on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays Group B – In person instruction on Thursdays and Fridays Week 2 Group A – In person instruction on Mondays and Tuesdays Group B – In person instruction on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays Thank you for your continued support.
