Dear Claremont Avenue Families, Students who will be attending the PTO Parade and Trunk or Treat should report to the front of school with a parent/guardian between 4:20pm-4:25pm in costume. The front door will open at 4:20pm for students to walk to their classrooms to meet their teachers. The parade will begin at 4:30pm. During the parade, parents are asked to watch from the edge of the pavement, on the sidewalk, and grass. Each class will walk around the circle in the front of the school two times and proceed to the side of the school outside Doors 13, 12, 11 to meet parents/guardians. Parents/guardians must be with their children at all times. Trunk or Treat will begin in the school parking lot immediately following the parade. In addition, activities will be on the basketball court and the Scholastic Book Fair will be outdoors in the back parking lot. The only cars permitted in parking lots are those registered for the Trunk or Treat. Thank you for your cooperation in making this a safe and enjoyable Halloween event. Ms. Shafer Principal

The Woodbridge Township School District has made the commitment to implement universal screening to all students enrolled in Grade 1 with regard to eligibility for our Gifted and Talented programs. The district has chosen the CogAT ability test as one measure to identify our students who would benefit from enrichment or support in areas they may demonstrate an early readiness to achieve in.
