EARLY DISMISSAL: ONLY Elementary & Middle Schools will follow the early dismissal plan on Tuesday, March 14. Grades 6 thru 8 will be dismissed at 12:45 pm; Grades K thru 5 will be dismissed at 1:10 pm; Pre K morning classes will be dismissed at 11:30 am; and, the Pre K pm classes will be held from 10:30 am - 1:10 pm

Beginning February 9, 2023, the front door and Door 4 will be open between 8:45am-9:00am for parents/guardians who bring their children to school. Students will meet staff at Door 4 or the front of the school between 8:45am-9:00am and walk directly to their classrooms. For safety reasons, do not double park your vehicle on the street. Any student who arrives after 9:00am, must be signed in at the front door by a parent/guardian. Bus procedures will remain the same.
This is a reminder that as of December 1, 2022, all students will enter through the front doors of Claremont Avenue School and walk to their classrooms. Please follow the procedures listed below:
Students in grades K-5 not transported by bus (walkers) should be dropped off at the drop off location at the curb line on Claremont Avenue. For safety reasons, do not park or double park your vehicle.
If you would like to park your vehicle and walk your child to the drop off location, you may continue to do so. Please park on the street away from the drop off line.
The front door will open at 8:45am each day through 9:00am. Staff will be present outdoors during drop off times.
Any student who arrives after 9:00am must be signed in at the front door by a parent/guardian.
Procedures for bus students will remain the same.

Welcome back! I hope you had a healthy and enjoyable week.
-Claremont Avenue is excited to begin Cougar Compliments today. Cougar Compliments is a positive behavior program where students are recognized for exemplifying trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and/or citizenship in their interactions with others at school.
-Marking Period 1 will close on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions regarding grades or missing assignments.
-Students will continue to go outside for recess and physical education as often as possible. As the weather gets cooler, please send your child to school with appropriate attire for the outdoor temperatures.
