The Panther softball team played Avenel Middle yesterday at WHS. The Panthers of the game were 7th grader Brittany Walsh with a double, stolen base and 2 runs and 8th grader Rilee Sparks bringing her positive energy and solid pitching to shut down the Avenel middle scoring. Great Job!

The IMS softball team lost yesterday to Avenel Middle 14-8. Julia and Britany Walsh each had 2-run homeruns. The Panther of the Game was 8th grader Angelina Quinones. Angelina came into pitch in the 5th inning and struck out the side. Amazing job!
Next week IMS is celebrating the Week of Respect & Inclusion! Each day will have a fun theme—starting Monday with Stomp Out Bullying Day. Wear blue to show we stand together against bullying. Let’s come back on Monday ready to celebrate kindness, respect, and teamwork all week long!

For the month of October, IMS will be participating in the SEWA Diwali Food Drive in honor of Diwali! All donations will go to local food pantries. The boys baseball team won their first game of the season yesterday, defeating Woodbridge 5-0. The boys were led by Moksh Patel, who threw a complete game no-hitter, the first in school history! The Panthers will try to make it a winning streak today when they face off against Colonia Middle School.
