Great job by the IMS boys and girls cross country team in yesterday’s meet of champions. Both teams finished in 2nd place. Individually, Abhay Shinde took the top spot overall for the boys. On the girls side, Tiara Goodridge was 2nd while Dhruti Patel was 3rd, Gabby Goodridge was 8th and Aishmin Kaur was 9th place overall.
Any choir students who are interested in singing for the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, please check the choir google classroom. There is information there about how you can participate.
Congratulations to Yash Parikh and Kena Darji, for placing 3rd and Samruddhi Patil and Lara Patel, for placing 2nd in the Physical Science and Chemistry division at the SETS Science Fair. Both groups qualified in the top 10% and will move onto the next level.

Today is an A Day.
Today we celebrate National Water a Flower Day.
Attention all band students, the IMS Spring Concert will take place on Monday, June 2nd. All students must arrive by 4 p.m. Concert begins at 6:30. Please check the full band google classroom for more information.
The rescheduled date for the cross country meet of champions is Tuesday, June 3rd.
Anyone who was interested in signing up for Bollywood dancing today during lunch, there was an error with the Google form and students should now be able to sign up. Any questions, see Ms. Rodriguez.

AAPI Heritage Month is ending. Celebrate this month by wearing cultural attire tomorrow! Those interested in Bollywood dancing during lunch sign-up in your grade-level Google classroom.

To wrap up the end of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, IMS will be celebrating with a cultural day this Friday! Wear your cultural outfits and sign-up to participate in Bollywood dancing during your lunch. Sign-ups are in your grade-level Google classroom.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, dress like a teacher tomorrow!

To celebrate the end of Autism Acceptance Month for the month of April, IMS will be participating in a school-wide Ro Sham Bo Tournament tomorrow! Here’s how it works: Every student will receive one beaded necklace. To play, challenge someone to a game of rock-paper-scissors. The winner takes the other person’s bead—simple as that! Then, they go on to challenge someone else who still has a bead. If you lose your bead, you’re out—so choose your battles wisely! The winners from each class will then compete against each other. The final winners will then have a chance to compete against Mrs. Cilento and Mr. Sealander and for a special prize! Check your grade-level Google classroom for more information.
