AMS Families,
As we near our well-deserved Spring Recess, here are a few important reminders and updates:
1.) Updated WTSD Quarantine Guidelines (subject to change):
Travel Beyond NJ, NY, CT, DE, PA for over 24 hrs.
• 10 day quarantine if no COVID test. Individuals who had COVID-19 in the past 3 months must quarantine for 10 days after travel because they are unable to test.
• 7 day quarantine with a negative COVID test done 3-5 days after returning. Must wait 3-5 from returning to be tested.
General Exposure
• If you have had a positive COVID-19 test and have fully recovered within the past 3 months and have no symptoms, quarantine is not required, unless new symptoms arise.
• Fully Vaccinated in past 90 days – no quarantine needed. Just self-monitor for symptoms and quarantine if symptoms arise.
• Unvaccinated – 14-day quarantine from last exposure. **If a student has a household contact that tests positive, the student must quarantine for full 24 days (10 days to make sure student doesn’t become positive + 14 day quarantine after = 24 days). If you test positive … vaccinated/unvaccinated – must quarantine and self -isolate for 10 days after first symptoms appeared, plus need to be symptom and fever free for 24 hrs., with no fever reducing medications (Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Aleve, Advil, Motrin) in that 24 hour period or from date of test, if symptomatic.
