AMS School Picture Day Information: Thursday, May 20, 2021 In-person students will have the option of having their picture taken during the school day. AMS Families, We are very pleased to announce that starting Monday, May 3, 2021, Avenel Middle School will be able to accommodate all current hybrid students to attend in-person 5 days a week. Cohort Group A and Cohort Group B will be combined into one in-person group that will attend 5 days a week. There will be no change for fully remote students. Be safe and stay #avenelstrong. Welcome back AMS families, 1.) The last day of Marking Period 3 and E6 is Tuesday, April 13th. The first day of Marking Period 4 and E7 is Wednesday, April 14th. MP3 Report Cards will available in the Genesis Parent Access Portal after 8:00 AM on Friday, April 16th. 2.) Cohorts A and B will now be scheduled for on campus in-person instruction on alternating Wednesdays in order to increase opportunities for in-person instruction for students. The alternating schedule of Wednesdays is below. Additional schedule updates will be provided, when applicable. This new alternating Wednesday schedule begins the Week of Monday, April 12th. There will be no changes to the time schedule. Wednesday In-Person Instructional Dates by Cohort: APRIL 14 - A 21 - B 28 - A We hope to have all in-person students coming 5 days a week by the end of April.
