All schools in the Woodbridge Township School District will be closed Monday, March 2, 2026 for a Staff In-service Day. Schools will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday March 3, 2026.

The Woodbridge Township School District will follow a two hour delayed opening schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25, 2026. High schools will begin at 9:40 a.m. Middle schools will begin at 10:15 a.m. Grades K through 5 will begin at 10:55 a.m. The morning Preschool will begin at 10:55 a.m., and the afternoon Preschool will begin at 12:55 p.m. As a reminder, all bus pick-ups will be delayed two hours as well.
Crews are continuing to work on our schools thru tonight and tomorrow morning. With almost 2 feet of snow in parts of our township, we recognize not all residential and business walkways and sidewalks will be cleared for use. We anticipate certain roads being difficult to navigate as cars were left on the streets when plow trucks came through. If your child is a walker, we encourage parents and guardians to review their route or consider driving them if possible. Bus routes will also likely be impacted so please allow extra time for pick up and drop off.

Woodbridge Township Families, As you are well aware, there was a glitch today, March 17, 2025, with our notification system, Thrillshare, and resulted in messages going out to all of our 14,000+ students from some or all of our 24 district schools. As the error was on Thrillshare’s end of the system, our district could have shut down our entire network and the messages and alerts would still have gone out. Our analysts have received confirmation from Thrillshare that the issue with their data processing has been resolved and steps have been taken to provide reassurance that this does not occur again. We have also received confirmation that this was only an issue with attendance notifications; we were not hacked and there was no breach in student information or confidential data. Today, January 31, 2025, marks the last day of the second marking period. Report cards and Kindergarten progress reports will be available at 8 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 via Genesis Parent Access. Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your student’s school.

Marking Period 3 begins on Monday, 2/3/25. Please have your child review their schedule/classes in Genesis for the new marking period. Report cards for Marking Period 2 will be available to view in the Parent Portal on Friday, 2/7/25.

Only Middle & High School students in the Woodbridge Township School District will follow the early dismissal schedule on Friday, January 31st. Early dismissal times are as follows: Grades 6 - 8 will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.; and Grades 9 - 12 will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m.
