Woodbridge High School students had the opportunity to take part in a powerful and culturally enriching assembly in honor of Native American Heritage Month. The event featured performers from the Redhawk Native American Arts Council, who shared traditional dance, music, regalia, and storytelling with our school community. Throughout the assembly, students learned about the diverse histories, traditions, and living cultures of Native American nations. Performers explained the significance of their regalia, the meaning behind different dance styles, and the importance of preserving cultural heritage. Students were fully engaged and expressed how much they enjoyed the vibrant performances and educational insights. We extend our gratitude to the Redhawk Native American Arts Council for bringing this meaningful experience to our school and for helping our students deepen their understanding and appreciation of Native American culture. 📸 See more photos and highlights on our Instagram:
