April 26, 2022 Dear Parents and Guardians, I hope this letter finds everyone well and looking forward to warmer days and more sunshine. As the weather becomes more enjoyable, please remember that pets of any kind are not permitted on school grounds. As we move toward the end of the school year we will be having ceremonies and events at school. All events are scheduled to be outside. All of our events will be set up on the paved section of the field in the back of the school. We will have seating for the participants set up with social distancing space. Spectators will bring their own chairs and can distance at their own comfort level. Outside events have no spectator limits and are bring your own chair. If the weather does not cooperate, the event will be held in our All Purpose Room and will be limited to two (2) spectators per family. If an event has a rain date, we will try to have that event outside on the set date, but dates are limited. Please review the following dates and activities at Oak Ridge Heights School: May 2 – May 18 NJSLA Testing Grades 3 – 5 Students will be taking one test session per day. At the conclusion of testing, students will return to their regular schedule for that day. Testing will start promptly in the morning. Please make every effort for your child to arrive on-time. Leisure reading materials, cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in testing rooms. Students are expected to focus on the assessment and do their best. Due to the impending weather and anticipated road conditions, all schools in the Woodbridge Township School District will follow the two-hour delayed opening schedule plan for tomorrow, Thursday, January 20. Elementary Schools at 10:55 am. All bus pickups will be delayed by two hours. There will be no Woodbridge Township School District morning before care.
