January 10, 2022 Dear Parents and Guardians, I hope this finds you well. As a result of the current impact COVID-19 has had on the school district, all Woodbridge Township Schools will pivot to remote instruction this week, January 10 through January 14. Schools are scheduled to reopen for in person instruction on Tuesday, January 18, after the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. day. Your child’s classroom teacher will be reaching out to you regarding supplies, if needed. If you do not hear from your child’s teacher, please email your child’s teacher directly as all supplies will be dispersed from the classroom outer doors. All District Elementary Schools (Grades K -5) will follow a Remote Early Dismissal Schedule as follows: Academic Instruction: Begins at 8:55 AM and will conclude at 1:10 PM Lunch/Recess will take place from 1:15-2:10 PM Office Hours, Small Group Instruction, etc. will take place from 2:15 PM – 3:30 PM Food Service: Families have the option of going to any of our food distribution sites for meals. Each meal pickup will include 1 breakfast and 1 lunch. Daily meal pickups will be available from 7:00am to noon at the following locations: Colonia High School - Door #12 John F. Dear Parents and Guardians, It’s that time of year again!!! We are happy to say The PTO is hosting a Holiday Bazaar for our children on Thursday, December 2nd and Friday, December 3rd. During school hours, our students will be able to experience the joy of giving by choosing their own gifts for family, friends, and even pets. Gifts are priced from $1 to $10. A 'Holiday Bazaar' envelope is being sent home with each student for your convenience, so kindly check folders and backpacks. Please send your child's gift shopping money in the 'Holiday Bazaar' envelope that was sent home and include a list of people to shop for, along with a budget for each. Dear Families, Oak Ridge Heights will sponsor a food pantry for the St. James Church for Woodbridge Township families. During Thanksgiving time, this organization will distribute food baskets to local families in need of food. The items being collected are: stuffing gravy cranberry sauce canned corn canned string beans canned yams Any other non perishable food items If you would like to contribute to this cause please send any item in with your child by Thursday, November 18th.
