Dear MPT, I hope everyone had a happy, healthy and safe New Year. I started planning on our return to hybrid learning on January 19, 2021. The Groups for Phase 2 will not change… as of the last day in school on November 20, 2020, your child will be in the same group on January 19, 2021. For example if your child was in: Group A (Monday and Tuesday 1/2 day in person) -Group B (Thursday and Friday 1/2 day in person) Group C (Fully Remote) or Group D (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) when we were last in school on November 20, 2020, your child will be in the same group on January 19, 2021. If you have a change in what you would like for your child, please contact me by January 8th. If you do not recall your child’s group, you can find this information in the Genesis Portal under your child’s picture. Wednesdays will continue to be fully remote for everyone. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we transition. Mrs. Margaret Truppa Principal

Good Morning MPT, Happy New Year.......... Today is Monday January 5, 2021. This past year is one that provided me a variety of opportunities to learn, grow and become a better person and principal. As we turn the page on 2020 I want to encourage you to reflect on the positive memories of the year. A few reminders: The students should be logged into their classes by 8:45am. They also have to stay on and follow their schedules of instruction until 1:15pm!! Don't forget......Each teacher has office hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the afternoons if extra help is needed. *Progress Reports will be sent out this week to any student who has a "D" or "F" grade. Please check with your child to make sure all their assignments continue to be handed in. Our MPT PTO is having a Clothing Drive. Monday January 11th, 12th and 13thPlease see attached flyer for more information. This is the perfect time to clean out your closets. All proceeds will go to our PTO. FYI: The clothing will be distributed to local thrift shops and in areas in need of clothing. They DO Not shred the clothing. It is reused by less fortunate people and families. * PTO meeting- Friday January 8th at 6:30pm on zoom. We need your help! If you have not paid your PTO membership dues you can still do this and join us at our next meeting. We are planning some exciting things for our students in the upcoming months and need more volunteers. Email the PTO for information @ MPT19PTO@gmail.com Feel free to reach out to me if I can do anything to support you and your family. Wishing everyone a "fabulous" 2021. Cheers, Mrs. Margaret Truppa Principal Genesis Student Information System
