Dear Parents/Guardians,

This time of the year we continue to see many of our students develop typical illnesses causing days of absence. We have had cases of virus with strictly only fever, stomach virus, and strep throat here at school. If your child exhibits any symptoms of sickness, such as fever (100 or over), vomiting, multiple episodes of diarrhea, excessive coughing, or constant nose drainage, we ask that you keep them home so as not facilitate the spread of germs.

Please remember that if your child vomits or has a fever (100 or over) they need to stay home for at least 24 hours before returning to school. If you have any questions on whether or not to send your child to school, please consult your doctor or the school nurse.

To help stop the spread of viruses and germs, the school custodians continue to clean the classrooms and instructional rooms daily as well as bi-weekly sanitize spraying. If and when a specific classroom needs attention for cleaning, it is cleaned and sanitized during non-instructional times (students out of classroom) during the school day and afterward.

If I can be of any assistance please contact me732-568-5675 OR email; krisitne.rapczynski@woodbrdige.k12.nj.us.

Thank you for being proactive in helping us to keep Kennedy Park a safe and healthy place to learn.

Sincerely,

Kristine, Rapczynski
