National Honor Society
Membership into the Honor Society can be earned in Fourth and Fifth grade. The qualities of an NEHS student are; academic excellence, along with responsibility demonstrated at home, through service activities, in membership in groups both in school and outside of school, and in leadership positions. Students that exhibit all of these characteristics are invited to join the NEHS. At the NEHS induction ceremony students take an oath to continue to strive for excellence in the areas of scholarship, responsibility, service and leadership. Throughout the year the students will have regular meetings and decide on projects to enact within the school. They will serve as role models to their peers and younger students alike. It is a great achievement for our students to be members of the National Elementary Honor Society.
