Afterschool Math Tutoring - Advisor Mrs. Roczey

Get tutored by a high school student on Wednesdays from 3:05pm-3:10pm. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Roczey or email her.

8th grade students can also go for afterschool help on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. See your math teacher for more information.

7th Grade Morning Math Club - Advisor Mrs. Geisheimer

Available to all 7th grade students. Join us every morning starting at 7:20 in Room 308. Mrs. Geisheimer is available for extra help and homework assistance. You can also work on Math IXL, projects or play Math review games. Please see Mrs. Geisheimer with any questions.

Academic Challenge -  Advisors Mrs. Porter and Ms. Perla

Do you know what acrophobia is? Or, how about the number of moons Jupiter has? If you do, then you would be a good candidate for Iselin Middle School’s Academic Challenge team. The Academic Challenge team consists of grade level teams that compete against other middle school students across Middlesex County in a Jeopardy style game that test your knowledge of general topics that range from phobias to space. If you are interested in trying out, please listen out for the announcement in January. Our season runs from January to May with biweekly meetings and travelling to other schools to compete.

Art Club - Advisor Mrs. Fasciale

Is art class just not enough for you? Do you feel like you’d enjoy spending time with others to fine-tune your artistic abilities? If so, the Art Club is for you!

Band - Advisor Mr. Vasquez

Choir - Advisor Mr. Tamashausky

The IMS Choir program is for students who enjoy singing and like to perform. Any student may join, no auditions are required (except for Select Choir). All regular rehearsals take place before school at 7:30 am. 6th grade Choir meets before school every Wednesday on the stage. Women's Choir (7th and 8th grade girls) meets every Tuesday before school on the stage. Men's Choir (7th and 8th grade boys) meets every Friday before school in Room 604. Select Choir is by audition only and meets every Monday after school in Room 604.

Coding Club - Advisors Mr. Case and Mr. Dillon

Do you love technology? Have you ever wondered how apps are made? Then Coding Club is the club for you! The Coders have fun with their classmates while learning about code and how to solve problems! Advanced Coders will have the opportunity to work on fun and creative projects...like making an IMS Coding Club App!

Community Council  -  Advisor Mrs. Bauldesweiler, Mrs. Kosmowsky and Ms. Byrne

The Community Council is dedicated to exposing our students to civic duties, responsible citizens and active leaders not only within our school community but within the community of Woodbridge Township at large. The goal of the Community Council is to involve all members in community service. The call to action has a real impact and allows our students to work on causes they care about. The Community Council is open to students in every grade at Iselin Middle School. Some of the projects and organizations we are involved with include: National Park Clean Up, Tooling around Town, Harvestfest Volunteers, Cards for Veterans, Making Strides against Breast Cancer, and fundraising for a charity chosen by the student body.

Debate Club - Advisor Mr. Andrews

Do you like to enjoy a good, old-fashioned debate with others about various issues? Are you good at organizing your thoughts and making your point in a constructive and convincing manner? If so, consider joining the Debate Club!

Drama Club -  Advisor Mrs. Albers and Mr. Tamashausky

Do you like to act? Would you like to be a part of an annual play at IMS? If so, join the Drama Club.

Gamers Guild  - Advisor Mrs. Conforti and Ms. Perla

Do you like to play games? Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of pure fun. PS4, XBoxOne, board games and more.

Garden Club - Advisors Ms. Alvarado and Mrs. Pafumi-Libitz

The Garden Club is open to every grade level at IMS. Members maintain the various gardens and grounds of IMS, including the Butterfly Garden located in the school’s courtyard. Students are directly involved in the planting, weeding, and mulching of these areas. Club members also have the opportunity to participate in community-based projects such as National Park Clean Up Day, Tooling Around Town, and our own School Clean Up Day. The Garden Club also conducts a variety of plant sales each school year, a Mum Sale in September/October, a Poinsettia Sale in December, and a Mother’s Day Plant Sale in May.

Geography Bee - Advisors Mr. Case and Mr. Dinuzzo

Are you interested in learning about different countries and cultures? IMS will be participating in the National Geography Bee. The GeoBee is an annual competition designed to inspire and reward students' curiosity about the world. GeoBee questions cover topics like geography, civilizations, cultures, physical features, and much more.

Got Talent Club - Advisors Mrs. Rogoff and Mrs. Silvestri

The IMS Got Talent Club brings together those from our school with different talents. Those that participate will take part in our annual performance at the end of the school year.

Extra Extra Read All About It. Ever want to be part of a newspaper? How about interview people and tell their story? Maybe even be a sports editor...The opportunities are endless and the stories happen daily. See Mr. Andrews or send him an email if you are interested on being a reporter for the IMS paper, the "Panther Press".

Yearbook Club - Advisors Mr. Banos and Ms. McLaughlin

The Yearbook Club is involved in creating the annual IMS Yearbook. Those in this club will help complete various tasks throughout the year so that the yearbook is ready by the end of the school year.
