Due to the updates in classroom social distancing guidelines, Claremont Avenue School will begin FIVE DAYS of in person instruction beginning Monday, April 12, 2021. Students presently in Groups A and B will be combined into one group and attend school five days each week. • The Daily Health Attestation Form must be submitted in Genesis each morning by 8:15am. Failure to complete the Daily Health Attestation three times by 8:15am will result in your child’s reassignment to Group C, 100% remote. • All travel quarantine guidelines must be followed. Dear Claremont Parents and Guardians, We are excited to be starting Week 2 of Phase 2 hybrid instruction. See below: Technology is live, synchronous instruction Physical Education will be in the All Purpose Room or outside when possible. Please send your child to school with a jacket. The Daily Health Attestation must be completed in your Genesis Parent Portal by 8:15am on the days your child reports to school. Any student who reports to school three times without a submitted Daily Health Attestation Form may be reassigned to 100% remote. Please send your child to school with a water bottle and multiple masks. All social distancing and mask wearing guidelines are expected to be followed on school grounds. On Monday, April 12, 2021, the schedule will change so that each group alternates three days of in person instruction every other week. Dear Claremont Parents and Guardians, We are looking forward to reopening with Phase 2 hybrid instruction on March 1, 2021. Group A will report to school on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning March 1st. Group B will report to school on Thursdays and Fridays beginning March 4th. Group C will continue with 100% remote instruction. Wednesday, February 24th and Wednesday, March 31st will be asynchronous instruction days at the elementary level. All other Wednesdays will be synchronous, remote instruction for students in all groups. Students in Groups A and B enter the school building between 8:35-8:45am. Any student who arrives after 8:45am must come to the front door to be signed in by a parent or guardian. All social distancing guidelines must be followed while on school property and masks must be worn. Please send your child to school with multiple masks and continue to practice mask wearing for extended periods of time. Please update your information in Genesis Parent Portal. If you are picking up your child from school, your child will be released to only those listed in Genesis. You are reminded to bring identification. On Monday, March 1, 2021, students will be returning to hybrid instruction. Rotation Group A will attend in person instruction on Mondays and Tuesdays. Due to the weather forecast and anticipated power/internet outages that would impact both teachers and students, Woodbridge Township School District will have asynchronous instruction on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Teachers are posting assignments today in preparation for Thursday and will be providing instructions as to what needs to be completed. Assignments posted for Thursday will be due on Sunday, December 20, 2020, to allow time to submit if power/internet is down. As with other asynchronous days, student attendance will be contingent upon their completion of assignments. Student attendance will default to present. If the assignment is not submitted by Sunday, December 20, 2020, attendance can be switched to absent. We are planning for live, synchronous instruction on Friday, December 18, 2020.
