Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. The Society helps people affected by MS so that they can live their best lives, and to work towards a cure to end MS forever. We accomplish this through funding life changing research, a variety of programs and services, advocacy for those affected by MS, and robust Navigator program so those affected by MS can be connected to the resources we have available.
They are currently looking to recruit in-office volunteers from the area to help them during our fundraising event season. Our four major fundraising events include Walk MS, two Bike MS events, and MuckFest MS. The office needs assistance with our mailings, data entry, and event research for this busy season.
Please contact Michelle Almeida at (732) 660-1005 Ext. 44312 or Michelle.Almeida@nmss.org for more information.
