    English Summer Reading
    To be completed prior to the first day of school.

     

    12th Grade Students - Wake Up Happy by Michael Strahan

    The assignment is posted on the District Website under the Curriculum tab, Summer Program banner. 

    Completed assignments to be turned in to your assigned English teacher or Ms. Zarestky in room 315.

    All books must be returned to your English teacher or Ms.Zarestky in Room 315.  Fines will be issued for books not returned. 

     

    10th and 11th Grade Students

    The assignment is posted on the District Website under the Curriculum tab, Summer Program banner. 

    Completed assignments to be turned in to your assigned English teacher or Ms. Zarestky in room 315.

     

    9th Grade Students - That Was Then, This Is Now by S.E. Hinton

    That Was Then, This Is Now was distributed at the middle school to all 8th graders.

    The assignment is posted on the District Website under the Curriculum tab, Summer Program banner. 

    Completed assignments to be turned in to your assigned English teacher or Ms. Zarestky in room 315.

    All books must be returned to your English teacher or Ms.Zarestky in Room 315.  Fines will be issued for books not returned. 

     

    ESL Students 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Grades

    Summer Reading assignments are posted on the WHS Website under Quick Links (on the left side of the page).

    Completed assignments to be turned in to your assigned English teacher or Ms. Zarestky in room 315.

     

    Advanced Placement English and SUPA Classes

    Summer reading assignments are posted on the WHS Website under the AP/SUPA Courses tab, Summer Assignments banner.

    Assignments are due the first day of school. You must turn in your completed assignments directly to your Advanced Placement or SUPA teacher via Google Classroom.
