• March 29, 2019 

    1.  Attention current 11th. Graders:

     There will be a career fair at the Woodbridge Community Center on Friday April 12th. from 8 - 10:30. Transportation will be provided. The first 130 juniors that hand in their signed permission slip can attend. Permission slips must be handed in to guidance by March 29th. The vendors will consist of a variety of technical/career schools, local businesses and unions, and the armed services. A permission form was emailed to you thru Naviance, or pick one up in the guidance department.

    2.  Student council & the Interact Club are participating in a fundraising to help the Woodbridge Animal Society Volunteers. They are in need of: wet & dry grain dog and cat food. Monetary donations are also accepted to absorb the cost of the vetenarian bills. Bring all donations to the boxes located in the front foyer and gym. Monetary donations can be donated at the front office. 

    3.  Attention French Honor Society Members and Candidates:  We will be meeting Tuesday, March 26th. immediately after school in room 208.

    4.  All students planning on attending Middlesex County College, apply by Monday 4/1 to be part of the Woodbridge High School group. See Mrs. Taranto with any questions.

     


    March 25-28, 2019

    3.  Attention Seniors: Please return your summer reading book,  Wake Up Happy to Ms. Zaresky in room 315

    Passes have been handed out to your first block teachers. if you did not get one please check in with your first block teacher before coming. If you are unable to attend please see Ms. Huber or Mrs. Cilento in the school Store during your lunch.

    2.  The Social Justice Club will meet in room 121 after school on Wednesday March 20th.

    We will be planning for Peace Week. All are welcome to attend.

    3.  The Ecology Club will meet on Wed. March 20th. after school in cafeteria 129. All interested students are invited to attend.  Members attending the Sewaren clean-up on Wed. March 27th. are required to attend.

    3.  Any student who plans on attending Middlesex County College next year should receive a pass in Block 1 for a brief meeting in the ACE Room. If you did not receive a pass and plan on attending MCC next year, please report to the ACE Room at the start of Block 1. Thank you.

    1.  Woodbridge High School will be celebrating Autism Awareness Week from April 1st. to April 5th.

    Our theme this year is "In a world where you can be anything, be kind."

    We are selling T-Shirts for $10. Stop by room D-25 to order. Thank you for your support!

    2.  Congratulations to Katie Nguyen, the winner of the Black History Month Art and poetry Contest! The International Culture Club would like to extend a warm thank you to all who participated.

     


    March 5-6

     

    1.  All Gertrude Hawk money for student council is due today in the School store.

    2.  Thank you to all those who participated in WHS Youth Council's Wellness Week.

     The winner of the $25 Barnes & Noble gift card donated by Woodbridge Domestic Violence Response Team is Stephen Daramola.  The winner of the Healthy food basket donated by Hackensack Meridian Hospital is Anderson Merino.  You may pick up your prize in Guidance from Mrs. Royce.
