• Research Resources

Our school has database access provided to us by two companies: Gale and EBSCOHost. If you need some background information on these companies, how to use a database, how to do research, or how to cite a source, use this worksheet.

    Gale Databases

If you are accessing this database at home, you will need the password: wood22249

Click here to access the following databases through Gale:

    1. Custom Newspapers
    2. Literature Resource Center (English and literature)
    3. Opposing Viewpoints in Context (Pros and cons)

Once you click the above link, click on the name of the database you want. Then enter search words like you would on Google.

    EBSCOHost Databases

This database is accessed through the Woodbridge Public Library. Use the public library card number 29330002540860 and, if asked, the pin#: 4550. This card number is good for online database access and eBooks but no physical book borrowing.

To get EBSCOHost, you must scroll down 3/4 of the way down the page to find the EBSCOHost box and then click on it to open the database. Once your new page opens, click the check box labeled “select/deselect all” and then click “Continue”. Click here to access the following databases through EBSCOHost:
