The CHS mini-THON t-shirts are in! Come get yours if you haven't already for only $12 a shirt at lunch and prepare for dancing, fun, and activities during the event on November 15th, from 3 to 9! All money goes to Four Diamonds to help fight childhood cancers. For the kids!
Hey Colonia High, this year's fall play "Maybe Baby, It's You" is coming up! Performances are next Wednesday, November 20th, Friday Nov. 22nd and Saturday Nov. 23rd at 7pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Cast members will be selling them during lunches this week, and next, until Monday Nov. 18th. Staff and students can also reserve a ticket for $10 by filling out the advanced ticket form on Ms. Montalvo's schoolwires page. Come on out and support The International Thespian Society - you won't want to miss it! Hope to see you at the show!
There will be a CHS Mini-THON meeting TODAY in Cafe 1 directly after school. There are a lot of last minute details that need to be finalized. Please attend the meeting if you can as the event is coming up this Friday. See Mr. Chester if you cannot or if you have any questions.
Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball Team
They have advanced to the State Sectional Finals on Wednesday. Game time is set for 4:30 vs Mendham
Come one and support the team. It will be an exciting match. The theme is White Out, so everyone should wear white.
We hope to see you there. Admission is free for everyone with a student ID.

Any students interested in participating in the Fandom Club's Thanksgiving Super Smash Brothers tournament should pick up an entry form from Mr. Long in room 203 or print one off of his School Wires page. The tournament will be held on Friday, November 22nd. The deadline to enter has been extended to Wednesday, November 20th, so be sure to get your entry form as soon as possible.

This week's Ecology Club meeting will be held on Thursday instead of Wednesday. New members are always welcome.
The CHS PTO will be host their 2nd annual Indoor Circus and are looking for volunteers to help out on Sunday, November 17th at various times. Come down to counseling to sign up.

Next week is American Education Week and in honor of ALL the people that make our public schools successful, please stop by the AEW table outside of the cafeterias to write a thank you to any member of the building that has made an impact on your high school experience.

Any students interested in participating in this year's Black History Month event should attend the SLAC meeting on Monday, November 25th after school in room 203. See Mr. Long or Dr. Ferris for more information if you're interested.
If you lost any personal items please remember to check the lost and found located in the main office. The lost and found gets emptied every Friday.
Attention film club members: We will have our regularly scheduled meeting today immediately after school in room 201. The meeting will last until 3:30pm - so please plan accordingly. See Mr. Hutchinson if you have any questions.

Tryouts for the 2019-2020 Colonia High School Boys Basketball Team begin Monday, November 25th.
ALL Physicals Forms and Emergency Contact Forms must be submitted or you will NOT be permitted to Tryout.
All Freshman trying out, report to the Colonia HS Gym by 4:45pm, tryouts begin promptly at 5:00pm
All Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors report to the Colonia HS Gym by 6:15pm, tryouts begin promptly at 6:30pm

Congratulations to the Colonia High School Juggernauts for advancing to next week's finals at yesterday's Donovan High School Academic challenge. Captains Kush Shah and Fatima Razi led their team of Daniel Fleming, Hifza Avais, Matthew Shackley, and Ashley Elmadolar to a top 8 placement to qualify for the finals. Remember the motto: Nothing can stop the Juggernauts!

The first CHS mini-THON raised $6,238.66 in total! It was a fantastic and successful event! Thank you to all students involved in preparing and planning for the event and to the students that came to it. To discuss what went well and what we can improve upon for next time, there will be a meeting after school in Cafe 1 TODAY. Please attend this meeting.

Attention all seniors!! If you need to purchase your cap and gown for $25 or an additional tassel for $5 (cash only), PLEASE see Ms. D'Souza in room 114 block 1. Late fees apply after Thanksgiving break. You MUST wear a cap and gown to participate in the graduation ceremony.
It's that time of year again! The 2019 Student Council Holiday Bazaar is happening this year during the week of 12/9 to 12/12 after school in the lobby.
Do you have a special talent? Do you knit, sew, craft, construct, or make items you can sell? Would you like showcase this talent and maybe make a few bucks before the holiday season? Now's your chance. Sign up on the Google Form below and indicate what you'll be selling. If you require a half-table, you will pay $10; if you require a full table, you will pay $20. After that, you set your prices and whatever money you make, is yours to keep. Go to Mr. Hutchinson’s schoolwires page, click on the Holiday Bazaar link, and sign up to be a vendor. Tryouts for the 2019-2020 Girls Basketball Team will be on Monday, November 25 at 245pm. Please be on the court by 240pm. Day 2 of tryouts will be Tuesday, November 26. Please arrive at 430pm via Door 17 with both your running and basketball sneakers. Physicals must be cleared by Mr. LaSala or there will be no tryouts...no exceptions. Emergency/Health Form must also be handed in. See Coach Donoghue or Coach Cyrana with any questions.

Join your classmates at Urban Air Trampoline Park in Avenel on Wednesday November 27 between 4-8 for a Colonia High School Spirit Day Fundraiser. Please come to Urban Air to support your school while having an AMAZING time. Make sure to tell them you are from Colonia High School.
