Congratulations to both the Junior Varsity and Varsity Boys Basketball teams for winning the 2019 Hillsborough Holiday Classic Tournament over the Winter Break! Both teams defeated Hightstown HS in the finals to capture the championship.
The Varsity team improved to 6-0 and will look to remain undefeated as they open up 2020 with a Home game tonight at 7pm vs Edison HS. Come out tonight and show your support!

Attention all junior boys! The counseling center is looking for students who are interested in attending the Jersey Boys State Conference from June 21-26th at Rider University.
At Boys State you will meet with NJ senators, governors, and learn the ins and outs of how municipalities and state governments work. If interested in getting more information about this once in a lifetime opportunity, see your counselor ASAP.

The swim team is hosting a flapjack breakfast at Applebee’s in Clark this Sunday January 12, 2020 from 8:00am-10:00am. Tickets are $10.00 each and are available at the door; we hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity Boys Basketball teams for defeating cross town rival Woodbridge HS yesterday! Thank you to the Colonia Crazies student section for their support and showing tremendous Patriot Pride! The Varsity team now improves to 9-0 on the season and will play tomorrow in the Coaches vs Cancer Shoot-Out at Montgomery HS vs North Hunterdon HS.
Our next home game will be Tuesday vs JFK HS. Please come out and show your support.

Anyone wishing to participate in the upcoming African American History Month program must attend a meeting on Thursday, January 16th at 2:40 in room 226. We will be assigning different parts and roles so your attendance in mandatory.

Attention all students … student council is proud to introduce our new initiative to raise school spirit: Spirit Fridays. Our program will run on the last Friday of each month and each month will have a different dress up theme. So, you will have the opportunity to donate a dollar to Team LeGrand of the Reeve Foundation and dress up according to the day’s theme. Show your school spirit, support a part of our Colonia Family, and most of all, have fun! Our first Spirit Friday will be next week, January 31st - the first day of our new semester - and in the spirit of the Superbowl, we ask that you wear your favorite sports jersey or shirt. Represent your favorite sports team, represent the Colonia family, and start the new semester with true school spirit!
Final Exams are rapidly approaching, with testing beginning in ONE short week!

The Science National Honor Society will be hosting a “Finals Bootcamp” after school on Thursday, 1/23, Monday, 1/27, and Tuesday 1/28 from 2:30 - 4 PM, to help students prepare for their science finals.
Come out and get some help preparing for your finals or come study with a friend!! All are encouraged to join!

All next week during lunches, the Student Council will be selling roses to send to your friends, partner, teachers, significant other, or yourself - we don’t judge. Roses are $3 for 1 or $5 for 2 to the same person. Help make that special someone feel just that … special.
