Algebra 1 Online
Algebra 1 Online is a great teaching supplement for nearly any topic. With eleven different Modules (their idea of chapters) and several lessons for each of them, it’s hard not finding the content you are looking for. This database contains PowerPoint slides, worksheets, videos, and more.
Algebra 2 Online
Free Algebra 2 Worksheets
Contains multitudes of worksheets for Algebra 2.
An online database full of videos on Algebra topics.
Create graphs of functions and sets of ordered pairs on the same coordinate plane. This is like a graphing calculator with advanced viewing options.
Students play a generalized version of connect four, gaining the chance to place a piece on the board by solving an algebraic equation. Parameters: Level of difficulty of equations to solve and type of problem. Algebra Four is one of the Interactivate assessment games.
Enter a set of data points, then derive a function to fit those points. Manipulate the function on a coordinate plane using slider bars. Learn how each constant and coefficient affects the resulting graph.
Multi-Function Data Flyer
Enter a set of data points and a function or multiple functions, then manipulate those functions to fit those points. Manipulate the function on a coordinate plane using slider bars. Learn how each constant and coefficient affects the resulting graph.
Linear Function Machine
Students investigate linear functions by trying to guess the slope and intercept from inputs and outputs. Linear Function Machine is one of the Interactivate assessment explorers.
Larry Green's Applet Page
Contains multitudes of resources and games to supplement your material.
Larry Green’s Applet Page has an applet called Complete the Square. It walks through problems step by step with hints to help.
The next applet, Complete the Square and Solve, works the same way but solves for x as well.
Battleship for Polynomials
Classic battleship but when you hit a ship, you need to solve a polynomial problem for it to count.
This applet generates random problems for the students to type in their answers and keeps track of their progress.
Similar to F.O.I.L. Practice, but works with factoring.
Computer spinner that allows hundreds of trials in a matter of seconds.
Advanced Monty Hall
Classic game show game that students can explore odds with.
Permutations and Combinations
This is good for introducing combinations and permutations to the class. The website gives an example of a combination and permutation along with calculations for different problems. It can also list the possible combinations and permutations up to a finite amount.http://www.classzone.com/books/algebra_2/page_build2.cfm?id=xword&ch=1&CFID=55489797&CFTOKEN=16616345&sfd=yes
