A Message from Our New Principal, Mr. Parry:

I am incredibly honored and proud to be the new principal at Fords Middle School. As your principal I will work constantly to ensure that every child has the opportunity to find success academically and socially. Here at Fords Middle School we aim to foster a love of learning through engaging lessons where students can collaborate with peers while utilizing the latest technologies to produce meaningful work.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in History from Montclair State University. I have spent my entire career in education with the Woodbridge Township School District. From 2000-2012 I taught Social Studies and Computer Literacy at Avenel Middle School. During my time teaching I served as the Subject Area Leader for Social Studies. In December of 2007 I completed my Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Kean University.

On December 21, 2012 I was appointed as the Vice-Principal of Avenel Middle School. I served in that role until I was appointed to become the principal at Fords Middle School on May 15, 2014.

I am currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University where I am pursuing my doctorate in educational leadership. I live in Middletown, NJ with my wife and three children.

I am looking forward to an exciting 2014-2015 school year!

Best,

James Parry
