Welcome to Woodbridge Middle School
"E Pluribus Unum; From Many, One"
Projects
February
The Woodbridge Middle School Student Council and P.T.O has begun the NOTHING
BUT NICKELS fundraiser. During the 6th, 7th and 8th grade lunch periods, there
will be a large empty water container located at a table in the cafeteria.
WMS students, faculty and staff are encouraged to donate as little as a nickel
towards improving the self-esteem and confidence of children that are battling
cancer on a daily basis.
The fundraiser will last four weeks and all proceeds will go toward the purchase of Bravery Beads™. These beads will be given out to children who must undergo a difficult medical procedure, such as surgery and radiation treatments. The more procedures a child patient goes through, the more beads they will collect; this will be a badge of courage and honor for their fight against cancer.
n Each grade level will have their own “Nothing But Nickels” container. At the end of the fundraiser the grade level with the most money collected will receive a class prize.
n All donations MUST be in change form- no paper money will be accepted
