
Kenneth D. Pace Sr. was born and raised in Milltown, NJ and graduated in the second graduating class from Spotswood High School in 1979. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kean College in 1983 with a Bachelors Degree in Health, Physical Education, and Athletic Coaching. Mr.Pace began his full-time teaching career at St. Peters High School in 1985 as Department Chairperson in Health/Physical Education and as a member of the 1985 State Championship Football coaching staff. Between 1986 and 1988 Mr.Pace taught Health and Physical Education at Perth Amboy High School while coaching varsity football, boy's varsity basketball and track. In 1989 Mr.Pace took a physical education teaching position in Woodbridge High School and was also the defensive coordinator for the varsity football team. Mr.Pace was also hired as the Head Boys Basketball and Golf Coach at John F. Kennedy High School at that time. From 1993-2006, Mr.Pace taught Health and Physical Education at Colonia High School until his present position as Vice Principal at Woodbridge High School in January of 2008. As a Head Boys Basketball coach, Mr.Pace's teams have won over 300 games, 2 State Championships, 3 County Championships, and 9 GMC Coach Division Championships. Mr.Pace was selected as the State of New Jersey Boys Basketball Coach of the Year by the Star Ledger in 1990 as well as the GMC Coach of the Year 8 times. Mr.Pace also served as the President of the Greater Middlesex Conference Basketball Coaches Association from 1993-2006. In May of 2005, Mr.Pace is excited about the opportunity to utilize his experiences as a teacher and coach into an effective career as an administrator. |
